Homefans is the Marktplaats or Booking.com for ‘sports experiences’. The traveling fan is demanding and desires an authentic experience. Local hosts provide that experience by sharing their passion, and earn from it.

Where Homefans currently generates a turnover of 1-2M€ per year, the goal for 2025 is set at 12M€. Homefans now has 500 hosts and 8 “focus” cities (but 95 destinations), which should become 3,000 and 18 respectively in 2025. Since 2023, Homefans has been cash flow positive. A booking generates an average of 450€.
The sports tourism market is growing to 2 billion per year by 2030, with an annual growth rate of 17.5%. Homefans presents itself today as “the first specialized sports tourism platform.” Homefans aims to be the global market leader in its niche by 2026. To achieve its super growth, Homefans is working with a specialized digital marketing partner.
At the beginning of 2025, Homefans expects to organize a Serie A round and in 2026 a Serie B round. To achieve this, they will make significant investments in marketing and human capital. While revenue currently comes exclusively from football, Homefans will also expand into other sports.
