Mark Snijders brings a unique combination of professional sports experience and business leadership. As a former captain of AZ Alkmaar and professional footballer in both the Eredivisie and the English Football League, he transitioned after his sports career to become an investor and dealmaker in the sports technology sector. He is the founder of DSTF1 and has built an extensive network of founders, clubs, and venture partners across Europe. In his role as CBDO, Mark focuses on attracting high-quality deal flow, strategic partnerships, and further developing the fund’s ecosystem.

Teun de Nooijer is one of the most successful Dutch athletes of all time. He played more than 450 international matches for the Dutch national hockey team and won multiple Olympic medals. After his top-level sports career, Teun built a second career in entrepreneurship and business development, using his profile and network to connect capital, talent, and innovation. As CIRO, he is responsible for investor relations, strategic partnerships, and increasing the fund’s visibility among family offices, private investors, and institutional parties.

Alexander Janssen is an experienced venture investor and entrepreneur with in-depth expertise in emerging technologies and early-stage growth capital. He has founded and advised multiple tech startups in Europe and has a strong track record in identifying and scaling promising ventures. With a background in institutional asset management and a hands-on approach to value creation, Alexander leads the fund’s investment strategy, due diligence, and portfolio development.
